The Democratic National Convention kicked off today in Denver, Colorado - check out CNN and the cable news channels for coverage of Michelle Obama's and Nancy Pelosi's speeches tonight. CSPAN has day-long coverage of the convention.
This Thursday, August 28, Barack Obama will officially accept the nomination of the Democratic Party at 9:00 pm. Joe Biden will appear beforehand and accept the candidacy for Vice President.
